Trigram ☲
离 Lí
Fire and sun · Clinging clarity and light
A yin line held between two yang lines: fire, bright outside and hollow within. Its quality is clinging (丽), for fire must attach to something to burn, and its organ is the eye. Clarity depends on what it rests on: a lesson about attention as much as about light.
