Wind and wood · Gentle penetration

One yin line beneath two yang lines: wind, and the roots of a tree, entering everywhere by gentleness. Its quality is penetration (入), reaching in by small steady degrees rather than force. It teaches influence that works the way wind shapes a pine: slowly, and completely.
