Trigram ☷

坤 Kūn

Earth · Receptive devotion

Three broken lines: pure yin, the open ground that receives everything and lets it grow. Its quality is devotion (顺), following what is right rather than resisting it, and its images are the belly and the ox, which hold and bear. Where Qian starts things, Kun brings them to completion.
